When asked about the
woman they like to talk about:
R.
Parthiban (29) : The lady I admire the most
is my friend's mother 'Pallavi' She was grown soft
and carefree. She fell in love and entered her husband's
family without any support. Her husband was the
lone breadwinner for the big family. They spoke
a different language and she had to learn it and
bear all their rejections and accusations.Slowly
she gained grounds, built the whole family, made
the house a home. She shared the financial burden
too besides doing all household.Tolerated and accepted
all the changes after her inlaws' marriages.She
handled her daugter's affair so intelligently at
all stages and finally made it thru' as if it is
only an arranged marriage. She got her children
married to good and right places. Now she finds
her own wards unduly calculative even with her,
yet, she has no complaints. She retains her no.1
position in the whole of the family all the time
maintaining good relationship with one all. She
defines me the word 'woman'.
T.Anandi(24) :
My Mother (Amaravathi) is a wonderful woman in the
world. She taught me everything from my first walk
till date. She is a multi talented woman. She makes
all things happen by love. I am proud to have her
as my Mother. Because of her I got equipped in my
Life with all talents (Studies, Sports, Co-curricular
activities, House activities, Gardening, to judge
people etc.). I too want to be like her for my children.
She can talk on any topic, she is so versatile.
Rajasekar(25) :
There is nothing better than my sister's love, I
know how much she craves to express her love we
were born on the same day and, we are so much alike,
we always think about each other I feel lucky for
having her as my sister, she knows exactly what
to say for every moment. I could understand the
meaning of the word woman, by just being with my
sister In correct english, I should call her my
cousin, she never allowed, I never will .
S.Muthusami(31):
My mother is the most important person in my life.She
spent her whole life in developing us (myself, my
sister and brother). She delivered me thro' Cesarian
section and in fact, it was considered very risky
those days.As my father was away on work almost
all the time, she moulded all of us with good habits,
politeness,faith in god, and love for family members.When
I used to study in the night for my exams, she used
to give me company. She is the reason for what I
am today.Her love for us keeps growing day by day.
After my mother, I like to talk about Melody queen
Mrs. S. Janaki.Her stirring voice - that could match
the notes of Nadaswaram - relieves my tension and
it also kindled the musical talents in me.She is
very polite and simple too inspite of all her achievements.
Revathy(35):
Indira Gandhi has been my inspiration.She has inspired
me with her brilliance, boldness and decision making
capability. I have admired the way she handled the
emergency and operation Blue star. Of all, she lost
her life for the country.
Latha (25) :
My mother is the most influencing person in my life.According
to me she is the most important person. A mother
can become a teacher, friend, daughter wife etc.
But the role of the mother is the most important
and difficult one. You cannot get mother's pure
love from any body else, and how much ever you pay.
