We've all experienced fear in some area of our
lives. Some fears are more obvious than others.
There are people who have a fear of flying, a fear
of heights, a fear of closed in places, and many
other phobias.
You may or may not have battled with such apparent
fears, but what about a fear that you don't even
realize you have. For instance, a fear of not being
able to pay your bills on time, a fear of never
having enough money, a fear of sickness, a fear
of failure or being hurt by someone through betrayal
(a spouse or loved one) or even a fear of death.
It is imperative for you to understand that you
can not operate in faith and have fear in your life
at the same time, faith and fear is like trying
to mix water and oil together they just will not
mix.
Fear is the opposite of faith. Fear actually believes
in the power of an enemy to harm you. If I fear
a rattlesnake, the reason I fear that snake is because
I actually have faith in that snake's ability to
harm me. If I don't believe that snake can harm
me, I won't fear it.
Fear will operate in the negative realm like faith
does in the positive realm. I like to call
F-E-A-R: False Evidence that Appears Real. Satan
will always present you with false evidence that
appears real. If you act on the evidence he presents
you, you're calling those things that be not as
though they were, in the negative realm.
That's why Job said that the thing I have greatly
feared has come upon me. That's why it says,
"Fear not," 365 times in the Bible. There's
one for every day of the year. Fear produces bondage.
Romans 8:14-15 says, For as many as
are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons
of God. For ye have not received the spirit of bondage
again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of
adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. We have
not received the spirit of bondage again to fear.
We don't have to fear our enemies. We don't have
to fear weapons formed against us. We don't have
to fear evil befalling us. We don't have to fear
plagues coming near our dwelling. We have not been
given the spirit of bondage. We have been given
a spirit of liberty that has saved us. In fact,
the Bible says God hasn't given you the spirit of
fear, but has given you the spirit of power, love,
and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).
Think about those three things: power, love,
and a sound mind.
Power is the manifestation of God who delivers His
anointing. The love of God is the Spirit of God.
A sound mind means it's instructed, taught, disciplined;
it sees and thinks clearly.
We must understand that those three flow together.
When I get a sound mind about His love for me, I
will never fear that He won't use His power to deliver
me of my enemy. But it's all predicated upon a revelation
of His love for me. He loved us first. We didn't
deserve His love, but He loved us. A revelation
of how much God loves you will make you as bold
in the earth as Jesus was when He was in the earth.
When Satan starts shouting in my ears, "The money
will never come!" all I have to do is shout back
to him, "But the Bible says, 'My God shall supply
all my needs according to His riches in glory by
Christ Jesus.' The Bible says, 'My Father hath pleasure
in the prosperity of His servants.' The Bible says,
'The young lions do lack and suffer hunger, but
they that walk uprightly shall not want any good
thing.' The Bible says, 'The Lord is my Shepherd,
I shall not want.'"
There's no sickness or disease, there is no diagnosis
of the doctor, there's no death sentence spoken
over you that's worthy for you to fear. It's not
worthy to be compared to the glory of God that's
on the inside of you (Romans 8:18).
The law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has
set you free from the law of sin and death. Those
lions weren't worthy to eat Daniel. That mountain
was not worthy to stay in front of Zerubbebel. Those
armies weren't worthy to capture Elisha. And your
enemy is not worthy to overcome you. You have the
answer. You just say, "Come on, devil! I've got
the answer! Ask any question you want, I've got
the answer!"
There's no temporary circumstance on the outside
of you that's worth having fear over in comparison
to the answer you have on the inside. The battle's
won before the first shot is ever fired. Have no
fear!
Begin declaring: "Sickness,
you're not worthy! Lack, you're not worthy! Mountain,
you're not worthy! Torment, fear, depression, heartache,
you're not worthy! Bow your knee! There's glory
in me! I have power, love and a sound mind. No weapon
formed against me will prosper! In Jesus' Name!"
