Renunciation is neither adding
anything nor leaving anything,
but performing any task without the
least
attachment to results,
holding on to the Lotus Feet of the
Lord
knowing that He is the only
performer
and all of us are His instruments.
You must not renounce performance.
A true yogi is a good performer.
But the performance must be
beyond
the fetters of personal, worldly life;
some service for the good of the
world.
If you can serve a noble cause,
without seeking any returns,
including merit of performance,
then you have learnt renunciation
in the true sense of the word.
