Q. We were devotees of Satya Sai Baba before we came to you; prior to that we were only
praying to idols. How do you attribute our coming to Mahans?
Nobody is greater than anybody, the rays of the sun fall from a distance, they do not exercise any choice. Irrespective of places, everyone receives the same effect of the Grace of God. It is for you to absorb the rays effectively. Mahans have tuned themselves through their penance to receive the rays of God more effectively than you.
Aum is the energy force of this world. In another sense equating with the principles of physics: proton, neutron and electron have different functions. When we harmonize these, we can hear the Aum that is inside us. The merger of the Aum inside and the eternal Aum prevalent everywhere is the cosmic sound. Aum can be heard at Thiruchendur. Coming across these Mahans evidences that you are in the right track in your quest of God. These
Mahans have started their journey towards God much before you have started.
Every human being is a seeker, the destination is the same but directions may be different. You choose your direction. You should be proud that you have met a Mahan. Certain examples I will give you for you to understand this better. We have electricity in the house. As we switch on the fan, TV, the power comes from the mains located in your house. Power flows from smaller transformers to these mains from a bigger transformer whose source is the grid power station. Power grid gets power from either thermal stations or hydroelectric projects. So you have no choice as to what type of power you get. If you are here you will get power from the Kundha project, you cannot ask for power from the Bakra Nangal station in Punjab. So power distribution is the function of God.
Most of the people who come to Siva Sankar Baba are immensely benefited, there are some who do not know how to receive it, and this is due to fuse off in their house. Fuse, in this context is the faith and trust you need to possess.
There is no discrimination whatsoever on the part of Mahans, as they have started their journey towards God much before you. So feel happy that you have met a Mahan.
