No one can promote you or demote
you. It is in a dog’s nature to bark. Why are
you affected by it? Just progress on your path
like a trained horse. Care for neither praise
nor criticism.
If you have decided that you will
not be cheated, then none can get the better of
you. It is our stability of mind that counts.
Learn to understand people, learn to evaluate
them, learn to distinguish the good from the
bad. And this wisdom stems from your upbringing
and experiences in the world.
If you have been deceived when
you lacked experience, it is not wasted, because
that counts as an experience for you and helps
you be careful in the future. But you must not
consciously commit a blunder.
Mahabharatha depicts Abhimanyu’s fatal end
because he could enter into the Chakravyuga
(wheel formation) but did not know the way
out. Why did he enter in the first place when he
did not know how to come out? Is it not his
fault? When you entangle yourself in a problem
knowing well that you do not know how to solve
the problem, you should not blame others.
Before you embark on any venture,
analyze your strengths and weaknesses, the
opportunities and the threats and then start on
the task.
