Q.  In the current context - without going to the forest leaving all responsibilities what is the sure way of getting gnana from a grihasta (householder) perspective. What should I do? What should I avoid doing? Please guide us. (question from a Samratchana volunteer residing at Sree Ramarajya)

(Baba quotes from a Samratchana song “kaatirku pogavum vendaamam”)
No need for the solitude of the forests
No need for arduous penance
Perform your worldly duties with the detachment of a Yogi
That is the wisdom of this Siddha Yogi.
By experiencing, Karmas have dissolved, so
Everyone has become God!
When you reach this stage, you will get the answer to this question.
When you experience your karmas and complete them, there is nothing else left and so you attain God.
We have all the facilities here to help you realize your Godhood. What Lord Krishna emphasized several eons ago is relevant even in the present day context: Do your duty; do not wait for results.
So
1. Whatever work you have undertaken, do it sincerely and diligently without waiting for recognition or bothering about criticism. Your conscience is your yardstick.
2. Try to score cent percent in whatever you do. Do your work so diligently that no one else can do it better. Then you have made a big leap from humanity to Divinity. Serve without a single blemish or fault.
Become a 100% performer; because half-baked stuff cannot become a palatable pudding and you will continue remaining a human being or go down the hierarchy. Make use of the opportunities you have here to nurture your talent and weed away your follies. It is for you to understand and climb up the divine ladder.
When you climb a steep mountain, the only inspiration you need to hold on to is this: ‘someone has already climbed, so why not I?’
Secondly, perseverance. Whatever be the hurdles you face, do not waver. Just surge ahead. Go step by step - - on the lines of ‘Lead Thou me on, yet one step enough for me’. When you attempt at any task with a quest for perfection and excellence, you will gradually start realizing the Divinity within you. Then there is no need to hanker after pilgrimages, mantras, tantras, yagams etc.
Whatever is stipulated by the sastras (scriptures) as the right sadhana path is already here. Just that you need to make use of this facility. The sastras say that Yagams (fire offerings) have to be performed; we have Agnihotra (daily homam) here. You have the conducive environment to think of God in sathsang (company of noble like-minded persons). There are manifold opportunities to render service in God’s mission. And Samratchana is one big family, where you are able to do away with hatred, anger and jealousy and nurture the divine qualities of Love and Compassion towards all. You have everything that will grant you peace. Shed your ego, anger, selfishness which are the greatest impediments to your progress.
I have not stated anything new now. Everything is practical Vedantha(philosophy)  can be easily practiced. The day you start practicing rather than just hearing, that moment you will attain Divinity.
