If you do not cleanse yourself of all your negative traits, how will God who is cleanliness personified, accept you? When your whole system becomes divine, with meditation and purified pristine thoughts and a noble way of living; God arrives to take hold of you. And this process takes no time.
A royal barber, in a spirited mood, invited the king to his daughter's wedding and the king also agreed. Surprised, the minister inspected the barber's residential environment, laid proper road and installed lighting, organized to have the barber's house cleaned, furnished it with essentials and arranged food items for the king. The very fact that the king had agreed to visit the wedding took care of providing the facilities to the barber himself.
All you have to do is to appeal to the God inside you, 'Oh Lord! come to me'. Just invite Him. And then all the celestials will come to your rescue. They will cleanse you and give you all the facilities to worship God. But it is your call to invoke God.
I do not have any riches; but I got God. Now that God is with me, the celestials are doing my work which is actually His. When I want something to happen, the celestials fulfill that immediately. It is very simple. Only the celestials are controlling wealth, health etc. Since they know that I invited God and God has consented to reside in me, I have to dress up well; eat nutritious food and take care of myself - - because
I am His. Since God commands the best comfort, I am bestowed with whatever is
required. This is the secret of sadhana. This is the secret of life.
If you can get God, you get the whole world in a plate. Nothing needs be done after that. Make him somehow consent to use you as His Temple and you will see miracles happening in every moment. If your mind is focussed, whatever you want will happen. The best thing for you to do is to get the power of penance.
This is very easy. You do not need any educational qualification for this, all that is required is for you to obtain God who is within you; if He agrees to reveal Himself, if He agrees to make use of you as His instrument, then you will see wonders coming true. So long you have prayed to God to study well, get married, have obedient children, amass wealth etc. This implies that you were thinking of God as your errand boy and so your wants never diminish.
The day you ask God for His permission, for you to be His servant, you will have attained the pinnacle of Truth. You are filing applications for favours from the millionaires of this world; have you ever filed an application to God? The person who applies gets it in no time; because there is so much of competition for posts with the business giants. But there is no application for attending to God's work. No one is applying, so all vacancies are available. That is how I attained God. There were no applicants, so He granted Himself to me.
