David Capel with his first ball, and scoring 91 in
his first innings against Northamptonshire.

home with the Ryder Medal - the Player of the Season
award.
* Acclaimed as one of the best fielders in the world,
he won the NatWest Catch of the Series in 2005 and
recently celebrated his 100th ODI appearance for
England.
* He made his First Class debut in 1996 after coming
up through the ranks of the junior set up at Durham
and was awarded his County Cap in 1998.
